Plans are underway to have a New York State historical marker placed at Edgerton Park in Rochester, NY. It will recognize the fact that Rochester had an original NFL team and they played most of their NFL home games at Edgerton Park. Thank you to Emily Morry, Christine Ridarsky and Barbara Pierce!

18 year old player, manager, groundskeeper, doctor, photographer, ticket printer, travel agent, owner and financier of the Rochester Jeffersons. Turned a sandlot team into NY state champions then an original member of the NFL. That is only the tip of the iceberg.

Great day in Pottsville, PA and Jim Thorpe, PA! Got to see the great "Mike Barksdale", former Buffalo Bill Mark Kelso, author and podcaster Darin Hayes and a bunch of great guys from the PFRA. Minersville Park where Rochester played Pottsville in 1924 and 1925 was on the "to-do list" and to see the newly installed Jim Thorpe kiosks which mention Leo Lyons, courtesy of Mr. Robert W. Wheeler.
